The Windows of Hope Journey

The Windows of Hope is a crafter of unique handmade jewellery and accessories you wont find anywhere else. They also have a mission ot help support the children of Africa.
Every purchase a web visitor makes, the company provides a portion of every sale which goes to helping people who live in difficult realities who need more resources to develop in life.

Purchasing a product means we can help children in Africa have a better life through better education and quality of life.

An online store for a good cause

The aim of the website is to target women interested in purchasing unique handcrafted jewellery and accessories.

The second purpose of the website is to convey the message of ‘if you purchase you’re helping a good cause at the same time’.

How we created an online store with a cause for good

From the beginning of the project, it was clear the messaging had to clearly convey their purpose, while also showcasing their collection of unique products and a simple and easy navigatable website for purchasing.

To convey their cause to the web visitors of helping children in Africa, we combined the use of photography with simple and short messaging as soon as the website loads. By presenting this information early in the website visitor’s journey, we have quickly conveyed the purpose and their mission, the secondary goal then involves showcasing their products and variety of products being the jewellery and accessories.

The LH Cosmetics website is a prebuilt website to help the new startup get up and active, selling their very popular women’s cosmetic and skincare range.

A very clean black and white website that matches the brand, while allowing the imagery to provide the colour and energy, along with a simple to navigate online store for purchasing from the website.

Who are LH Cosmetics & Skincare?

LH Cosmetics & Skincare are a new brand with the aim of bringing quality products to women’s makeup collections at an affordable price. Founded by two gents in Australia LH Cosmetics & Skincare aspires to give women a greater sense of confidence to truly embrace their individuality. Whether you’re a girl who wants to feel pretty in pink or would rather be fierce in red, LH Cosmetics & Skincare has a range to cater to any look, so get creative and steal the show.

High-end makeup and skincare online store

The aim of the website is to target women in general who have a passion for high-end makeup and skincare. By creating a website design that is clean, simple and bright, along with imagery that women can relate to.

By focusing on user experience, reviews, imagery and stunning product imagery we aim to bring in a new audience and create a following around the LH Cosmetics & Skincare brand.

How we created a clean and bright website with online purchasing

Due to the brand being a startup, we recommended the use of a prebuilt website template to be an affordable and quick option for the startup the get up and running as soon as possible.

Because there were quite a lot of product categories, we wanted to ensure web visitors were able to find what they wanted as soon as the homepage loads, and if they wernt sure, they could keep scrolling down to discover the  LH Cosmetics & Skincare difference.

The UKJ team also needed an online booking system to syncronise with their teams calendar, this allowed people to only book on days and times they had set available. This integration instantly brought in a flood of online bookings upon launching the website and reduced their phone calls significantly.

With the design of the website, it needed to be a very bright and hight tech feeling website, while also being accompanied by family friendly imagery and a fun and vibrant environment.

The bright blue colours give the website calls-to-action such as buttons and title text vibrance and importance, attracting the users attention to that particular area.

Overall the website design is simply designed and easy to use on all mobile devices.

The Light Shield Eyes website is an simple website built for ease of use, with bright blue colours and easy to read text, never complicating anything. The website uses hover functionality to help guide the user on elements of the website and backgrounds that change colour.

We created an online store with two categories for launch, iPhones and iPads which come in a variety of different sizes of iPhones and iPads.
